Dr. Ronny Grunert
Dr. Ronny Grunert studied Applied Physics and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Zwickau.
Subsequently, he attended the postgraduate course of studies in Medical Physics at the University of Applied
Sciences, Mittweida.
Additionally, he received the certificate for radiation protection after working at the University Hospital, Leipzig,
in the Departments of Radiation Therapy, Nuclear Medicine and X-ray Diagnostics. At the Innovation Center Computer
Assisted Surgery (ICCAS) of the University Leipzig, he worked in the field of workflow-based evaluation of computer
assisted devices and development of simulation systems. This was also the content of his doctoral dissertation.

Hendrik Möckel
Hendrik Moeckel studied Electrical Engineering Management at the University of Applied Sciences (UAS)
in Leipzig. Subsequently, he completed a Master in Electrical Engineering, also at the UAS Leipzig.
During his studies, he worked as a research assistant at the UAS, at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering.
He investigated the perturbation of electric, magnetic, and electromagnetic fields on cardiac pacemakers.
The results of his research will be applied to draft new directives for better protection of affected
patients. At the Innovation Center Computer Assisted Surgery (ICCAS) of the university Leipzig he worked
in the field of surgical communication systems and development of simulation systems for the evaluation
of surgical interventions.
