Target/Actual-Comparison of milled volumes
The aim of this project was the estimation of milling accuracies.
Therefore, the planned volume was compared
with the actually milled volume. The deviations were colored represented. Additional, a report with relevant
parameters for statistical evaluation was created.
3D-Ultrasound-Calibration phantom
The aim of this project was the construction of a phantom to calibrate
3D-Ultrasound machines.
The phantom consists of PMMA and includes marker for the calibration procedure. An especially for this project programmed
software recognizes the marker inside the phantom automatically.
Thus, a rapid, accurate and easy manageable
calibration of 3D-Ultrasound machines is possible.
Position determination of the endoscope's tip
A micromanipulator enables the surgeon, to control the endoscope with the help of a joystick manipulation to a user-defined position.
PHACON estimated the endoscope position with a 3D- coordinate measurement device.
