This is how the "Sculpture of your unborn child" is created

Today, most gynecologists provide ultrasound examinations for pregnant women, during which the doctor makes so-called 3D-ultrasound scans of the baby. Such examinations primarily serve medical purposes and are considered to be perfectly safe.

Ask your doctor to save the data from your ultrasound examination to a CD with a certain file format and send this CD to us. We will prepare the data for our special machines to be programmed. The machines will then print a 3D "sculpture of your unborn child".

The sculpture is made of a plasterlike material and in any color you like. What is most important for creating a true-to-life "sculpture of your unborn child" is that the ultrasound scans are of a high quality, i.e. that the outlines of the fetus can be made out clearly.

The quality depends on the kind of ultrasound scanner used, on the experience of the doctor, on the position of the placenta, on the quantity of amniotic fluid, on the thickness of the abdominal wall, and on the number of weeks of pregnancy.

To summarize: To receive a true-to-detail sculpture, it is necessary that your child can be made out clearly in the ultrasound scans.

Hint: The sculptures are made of a compound comparable to sandstone. The creation of fetus-sculptures is a unique technology for which we have applied for a patent. The fetus-sculptures created represent the data from the ultrasound scans made by your gynecologist. For technical reasons, these data can contain artifacts and gaps. Choose only such scans which you think represent your child in the best possible way. To be able to reproduce the "snapshot" of your child as true-to-detail as possible, we will use only those data you send. We will not modify the data by use of additional material. How true-to-detail your sculpture will be, depends directly on the quality of the ultrasound scans you provide.
The sculpture does not serve any diagnostic purposes. Diagnoses can only be made by your medical specialist!
